What is Green Spiral?

Green Spiral is MSU's official pagan organization, and includes MSU students, professors, and members of the local community. Founded in 1996, Green Spiral exists to provide a structured, readily accessible organization for Pagans at Michigan State University and in the surrounding areas. It is open to people of any age, religion or level of experience. We are, above all else, committed to the support and celebration of free religious expression.

Green Spiral is an eclectic organization. In Paganism, this term is widely used to mean "drawing from many sources". For example, if a pagan organization or coven refers to themselves as "eclectic", then they do not derive their philosophy, rituals, or beliefs solely from one school of thought, rather, many. In some regards, eclecticism is similar to universalism.

Green Spiral is NOT:

An anti-Christian organization

A cult (More info...)

A political group

While our meetings are open to the public, disruptive individuals will be asked to leave.
